Ruzhen Mongolian Grill, Seattle

4523 University Way NE
Seattle , WA 98105

On Yelp

First we would like to clarify that this is one of those sad, not all you can eat grills. Their bowls were huge and they will let you take home any left overs, but we didn't want to.

Lunch: $7.99
Dinner: $8.99

Their sauce was not very saucy. Very watered down and not much pre-grill variety.

No mushrooms makes us sad :( And the meat choices looked sad and old. The whole place looked sad. The noodels were off, not the regular Mongolian Grill noodles we love. They do have a rice noodle option, we did not try them though since it was not all you can eat and we did not risk trying new things for fear of a Pineapple Panic 2.

Plus side, all you can drink hot tea that was decent enough and serve yourself. And Hoisin sauce came to the rescue again making the crappy grill semi edible.

We were at this place for well over an hour and there were only 2 other customers. Despite the lack of customers, the staff was no where to be found and minimally helpfull when we did hunt them down.

We do not plan on going back and give this place a 1.5 out of 5 bowls. The .5 is pushing it, but at least there were no rats.
